NORI creates a transparent, efficient and verified marketplace where Carbon Removal Certificates (CRCs) can be traded between suppliers (farmers, etc.) and buyers (companies and private customers). This will enable farmers to make a living by reducing CO2 from the atmosphere and is working to reverse climate change.

2nd life for used EV batteries as flexible and mobile storage for renewable energy.

Large quantities of EV batteries can be re-purposed to provide electric power in diverse use cases in emerging and developed markets. This increases use of renewables, avoids CO2 from generators, reduces extraction of rare materials and provides economic opportunities for small businesses locally.

CO2 absorption through algae in water treatment.

CLEARAS has a solution that can significantly reduce excess nutrients in waste water and thereby creating an algal by-product that can be sold again. The CO2 absorption of the photosynthesis is significant (at millions of gallons a day per facility) and the market for water treatment facilities sizeable.

Integration of refugees in German society.

Local volunteer groups support refugees in their efforts to integrate in their new home Germany. This requires an efficient online platform for the coordination of tasks and donations. Working together, this provides refugees with a chance to build up a new life, escape poverty and avoid possible radicalization.
